AFS Kitchen is a restaurant at 4150 Lafayette Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46254. This page explains what we do with the details you give us when you order. It is short because we collect little.
What we collect
- Your name, so we can call you when your food is ready.
- Your mobile number, so we can text you about your order.
- Your email address, so we can send your receipt.
- What you ordered, what it cost, and when you collected it.
We do not ask for your address, and we never see or store your card details — those go straight to our payment provider.
What we do with it
- Prepare and hand over your order.
- Send you a receipt by email.
- Text you about that order only: that we have it, and that it is ready to collect.
- Keep our own records of sales, as any business must.
Text messages
We text you only about an order you placed. We do not send offers, and we never sell or share your number for anyone else’s marketing. Message and data rates may apply from your own phone company. Reply STOP to any message to stop them, or HELP for help. Stopping texts does not stop your order — we will phone you instead.
Emails about offers
Only if you tick the box for them. The box is empty unless you tick it, and ordering food does not put you on a list. If you do tick it, we may email you occasionally about specials and new dishes, and every one of those emails has an unsubscribe link that works immediately. Receipts and “your food is ready” emails are a separate thing: they are part of the order you placed, and they keep coming whether or not you want offers.
Who else sees it
Only the companies that make the ordering system work: the one that sends our texts and emails, the one that takes card payments, and the company that hosts the website. They may use your details only to do that job. Nobody else is given your information unless the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept for as long as we need them for our accounts and tax. Ask us to delete your details and we will, except where we are required to keep a record of a sale.
Children
The ordering system is not meant for children under 13, and we do not seek their details.
